It is April 7th, the cold wind cut through my jacket this morning and my nose was cold in the 40 degree weather. Did I mention I live in Winter Haven, Florida? The sunshine state woke up to cooler temps and cool winds this morning. What does cold weather do to citrus? Well according Jerry Mincey, Noble's fruit guru and buyer, the fruit becomes sweeter as the the temperature drops. Jerry is also folk singer and writes many of his songs while riding in the citrus groves checking out the fruit trees.
